🍽️ Spicy Shrimps with Peanut Cream

Ingredients
- 24 Shrimps kitchen-ready deveined and peeled (except tail segment)
- 1 Onion
- 1 Garlic clove
- 1 Chili pepper
- 4 tbsp Peanut oil
- 2 tbsp Peanut butter
- 400 ml Poultry broth
- 1 tbsp Paprika powder
- 2 tbsp Crème fraîche
- Salt
- Lemon juice
- Pepper (from the mill)
- 1 tsp Thyme
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the shrimp thoroughly and then pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 2. Peel the onion and the garlic clove and cut both into fine cubes.
- 3. Wash the chili pepper and chop it finely.
- 4. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a pan and sweat the onion cubes in it.
- 5. Add the chopped chili and garlic to the pan and sweat them briefly.
- 6. Stir in the peanut butter and let it caramelize slightly for a short time.
- 7. Deglaze the pan with the broth and add the paprika powder.
- 8. Let the sauce simmer for about ten minutes until it becomes creamy.
- 9. Stir the crème fraîche into the sauce.
- 10. Finally, season the sauce to taste with salt, lemon juice, and pepper.
- 11. Drizzle the remaining oil over the shrimp.
- 12. Salt and pepper the shrimp and sprinkle fresh thyme over them.
- 13. Grill the shrimp on a preheated grill for three to four minutes.
- 14. Place the grilled shrimp into a bowl.
- 15. Pour the prepared sauce over the shrimp.
- 16. Serve the dish with white bread as desired.
