🍽️ Crispy Shrimp-Chicken Patties with Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 chicken breast fillets
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 tbsp red curry paste
- 250 g shrimp (kitchen-ready peeled, frozen)
- 50 g breadcrumbs
- 200 g corn (from the can)
- 4 spring onions
- 2 tbsp coriander (finely chopped)
- 1 chili pepper (red)
- 2 tbsp oil
- 6 tbsp sweet chili sauce (Asian market)
- 4 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp coriander (chopped)
- 1 tbsp mint (chopped)
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger (finely diced)
- 1 spring onion (finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp honey
Instructions
- 1. Put all ingredients for the sauce into a bowl.
- 2. Stir the sauce well until everything is mixed.
- 3. Let the sauce marinate for as long as you have time.
- 4. You can also prepare the sauce the day before.
- 5. Grind the chicken meat through a meat grinder.
- 6. Add the shrimp to the ground meat.
- 7. Drain the corn well.
- 8. Chop the drained corn finely.
- 9. Add the chopped corn to the meat-shrimp mixture.
- 10. Peel the garlic clove.
- 11. Press the garlic directly into the bowl.
- 12. Add all remaining ingredients, except for the oil.
- 13. Mix everything into a firm dough.
- 14. Divide the dough into 18 equal parts.
- 15. Shape each part into a small patty.
- 16. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan.
- 17. Fry the patties for about 3 minutes on each side.
- 18. Cook them until golden brown.
- 19. Remove the finished patties from the pan.
- 20. Place them on a serving plate.
- 21. Serve with the prepared sauce.
- 22. Serve the patties warm.
