  4. 4. Place the chopped shrimp and the egg white into a blender.
  5. 5. Blend the ingredients into a fine paste.
  6. 6. Stir the starch, chopped spring onions, and garlic into the shrimp mixture.
  7. 7. Season the mixture with soy sauce and cayenne pepper.
  8. 8. Place the bowl in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to chill the mixture.
  9. 9. Shape the cold mixture into small balls.
  10. 10. Heat oil in a frying pan.
  11. 11. Fry the balls in the hot oil for about 4 minutes.
  12. 12. Remove the balls when they are golden brown.
