Ingredients
- 1 Spring onion
- 8 Shrimp (kitchen-ready)
- 1 Egg white
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 Garlic clove (finely chopped)
- Soy sauce (Cayenne pepper)
- Oil (for frying)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the spring onions thoroughly.
- 2. Remove the tough ends and chop the spring onions very finely.
- 3. Finely chop the shrimp as well.
- 4. Place the chopped shrimp and the egg white into a blender.
- 5. Blend the ingredients into a fine paste.
- 6. Stir the starch, chopped spring onions, and garlic into the shrimp mixture.
- 7. Season the mixture with soy sauce and cayenne pepper.
- 8. Place the bowl in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to chill the mixture.
- 9. Shape the cold mixture into small balls.
- 10. Heat oil in a frying pan.
- 11. Fry the balls in the hot oil for about 4 minutes.
- 12. Remove the balls when they are golden brown.
