  1. 1. Rinse the chicken meat under cold water and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
  2. 2. Cut the meat into small cubes.
  3. 3. Wash the apple thoroughly.
  4. 4. Cut the apple into four quarters and remove the core.
  5. 5. Cut the apple pieces into bite-sized chunks.
  6. 6. Peel the onion and cut it into fine cubes.
  7. 7. Peel the carrots and cut them into small batons.
  8. 8. Peel the garlic clove and chop it finely.
  9. 9. Heat oil in a large pan or pot.
  10. 10. Fry the chicken meat in the hot oil.
  11. 11. Add the garlic, onions, carrots, and apple pieces to the pan.
  12. 12. Sauté the vegetables and apple briefly.
  13. 13. Stir the curry powder into the mixture.
  14. 14. Deglaze the mixture with a little broth.
  15. 15. Add the peas, vinegar, and honey.
  16. 16. Let the curry simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
  17. 17. Add more broth if necessary if the sauce becomes too dry.
  18. 18. Check if the vegetables are cooked but still firm to the bite.
  19. 19. Mix the starch smoothly with 1 to 2 tablespoons of water.
  20. 20. Add the starch solution to the sauce to thicken it slightly.
  21. 21. Season the curry to taste with salt and pepper.
  22. 22. Serve the curry with rice and chips as desired.
