🥤 Refreshing Non-Alcoholic Fruit Tea

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 4 lime slices
- 3 cm ginger
- 4 limes (1 of them unwaxed)
Instructions
- 1. Pour 750 milliliters of hot water over the tea bags.
- 2. Let the tea steep for about 5 minutes.
- 3. Remove the tea bags from the liquid.
- 4. Sweeten the tea to your liking.
- 5. Let the sweetened tea cool down completely.
- 6. Peel the ginger.
- 7. Grate the peeled ginger finely.
- 8. Add the grated ginger to the cooled tea.
- 9. Place the mixture in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
- 10. Strain the tea mixture through a fine sieve to remove the ginger.
- 11. Wash the unwaxed lime under hot water.
- 12. Dry the lime with a cloth.
- 13. Peel the lime skin into fine zest strips.
- 14. Squeeze the juice from all the fruits.
- 15. Add the fruit juice and lime zest to the tea.
- 16. Chill the finished mixture for another 1 hour.
- 17. Dip the rim of the glasses briefly into water.
- 18. Dip the wet glass rim into the sugar to create a white edge.
- 19. Garnish each glass with a slice of lime.
- 20. Pour the cold iced tea into the prepared glasses.
- 21. Serve the drink with drinking straws.
