🍝 Fruity Pasta Salad

Ingredients
- 150 g small shell whole wheat pasta
- salt
- 75 g spinach (deep-frozen)
- 100 g cooked ham
- 75 g Edam (30 % fat in dry matter)
- 125 g yogurt (0.3 % fat)
- 2 tbsp light salad cream
- 2 small oranges
- salt
- pepper
- 0.5 lemon
Instructions
- 1. Boil water in a large pot and add salt.
- 2. Cook the pasta in this salted water until al dente.
- 3. Cut the ham into small cubes of about five millimeters.
- 4. Cut the cheese into cubes of about five millimeters as well.
- 5. Add the ham and cheese cubes to a large bowl.
- 6. Add yogurt and salad cream to the bowl.
- 7. Add the peas to the pot with the pasta when there are two minutes of cooking time left.
- 8. Finish cooking the pasta and peas together.
- 9. Drain the pasta and peas in a colander.
- 10. Rinse the pasta briefly with cold water to stop the cooking process.
- 11. Let the pasta and peas drain well.
- 12. Peel the oranges with a knife until all white skin remnants are removed.
- 13. Separate the orange segments from the membranes.
- 14. Cut the orange segments into small pieces.
- 15. Add the orange pieces to the bowl with ham and cheese.
- 16. Mix the ingredients in the bowl well.
- 17. Squeeze a lemon.
- 18. Add the drained pasta and peas to the bowl.
- 19. Mix everything thoroughly.
- 20. Season the salad with salt and pepper.
- 21. Add two teaspoons of lemon juice.
- 22. Let the salad marinate for fifteen minutes.
- 23. Taste the salad one last time before serving.
- 24. Season to taste if necessary.
