🍽️ Sweet and Sour Chicken and Pepper Skewers

Ingredients
- 3 chicken breast fillets
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 stalk leek
- 2 carambola
- fresh bay leaf
- sesame oil
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 10 wooden skewers
Instructions
- 1. Wash the chicken meat and pat it dry.
- 2. Cut the chicken meat into small, even cubes.
- 3. Wash the peppers thoroughly.
- 4. Remove the stems and halve the peppers lengthwise.
- 5. Remove the seeds and the white inner membranes from the peppers.
- 6. Cut the peppers into bite-sized pieces.
- 7. Wash the spring onions and remove any dry outer leaves.
- 8. Cut the spring onions into pieces about 3 centimeters long.
- 9. Wash the carambola (star fruit) thoroughly.
- 10. Slice the carambola into thin rounds.
- 11. Thread the chicken cubes, pepper pieces, spring onion pieces, and carambola slices alternately onto the wooden skewers.
- 12. Preheat your grill.
- 13. Brush the skewers with sesame oil.
- 14. Place the skewers on the hot grill.
- 15. Grill the skewers all around for about 6 to 8 minutes.
- 16. Season the finished skewers to taste with salt and pepper.
