  2. 2. Cut the chicken meat into small, even cubes.
  3. 3. Wash the peppers thoroughly.
  4. 4. Remove the stems and halve the peppers lengthwise.
  5. 5. Remove the seeds and the white inner membranes from the peppers.
  6. 6. Cut the peppers into bite-sized pieces.
  7. 7. Wash the spring onions and remove any dry outer leaves.
  8. 8. Cut the spring onions into pieces about 3 centimeters long.
  9. 9. Wash the carambola (star fruit) thoroughly.
  10. 10. Slice the carambola into thin rounds.
  11. 11. Thread the chicken cubes, pepper pieces, spring onion pieces, and carambola slices alternately onto the wooden skewers.
  12. 12. Preheat your grill.
  13. 13. Brush the skewers with sesame oil.
  14. 14. Place the skewers on the hot grill.
  15. 15. Grill the skewers all around for about 6 to 8 minutes.
  16. 16. Season the finished skewers to taste with salt and pepper.
