🍽️ Sweet and Sour Turkey Skewers with Mango-Chili Dip

Ingredients
- 600 g turkey breast fillet
- 2 peaches
- 1 red bell pepper
- oil (for brushing)
- sea salt
- chili flakes
- 1 mango
- 1 tbsp peanut oil
- 1 chili pepper (chopped)
- 1 clove garlic (chopped)
- 1 tsp honey
- light soy sauce
- fishing sauce
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the turkey breast under running water.
- 2. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Cut the turkey breast into uniform cubes.
- 4. Wash the peaches thoroughly.
- 5. Halve the peaches and remove the pit.
- 6. Cut the peach flesh into cubes as well.
- 7. Wash the bell pepper.
- 8. Halve the pepper and remove the core (seeds and membranes).
- 9. Cut the pepper into bite-sized pieces.
- 10. Thread the turkey cubes, peach pieces, and pepper pieces onto the wooden skewers in an alternating pattern.
- 11. Brush the skewers with some oil.
- 12. Preheat the grill.
- 13. Place the skewers on the hot grill.
- 14. Grill the skewers for about 6 to 8 minutes.
- 15. Turn the skewers once during grilling.
- 16. Peel the mango.
- 17. Carefully cut the flesh away from the pit.
- 18. Dice the mango flesh finely.
- 19. Heat some oil in a small pan.
- 20. Add the chili and garlic to the hot pan.
- 21. Sauté the chili and garlic briefly.
- 22. Add the diced mango and honey to the pan.
- 23. Deglaze the mixture with a splash of water.
- 24. Season the sauce with soy sauce.
- 25. Season the sauce with fish sauce.
- 26. Remove the pan from the heat.
- 27. Arrange the grilled skewers on plates.
- 28. Drizzle some of the mango sauce over the skewers.
- 29. Sprinkle some salt over the skewers.
- 30. Sprinkle chili flakes over the skewers.
- 31. Pour the remaining sauce into small bowls.
- 32. Serve the sauce separately alongside the skewers.
