🍽️ Sweet and Sour Chicken with Cherries

Ingredients
- 2 chicken breast fillets
- 1 onion
- 3 tbsp oil
- 400 g carrots
- 300 g cherries
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Cut the chicken meat into small, bite-sized cubes.
- 2. Peel the onion and slice it into thin strips.
- 3. Peel the carrots and slice them into rounds.
- 4. Wash the cherries thoroughly and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 5. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onion strips until they are soft and translucent.
- 6. Add the chicken cubes and carrot slices to the pan with the onions.
- 7. Fry the meat and vegetables for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 8. Add the dry cherries to the pan and fry everything for another 2 minutes.
- 9. Season the pan with salt and pepper to taste.
- 10. Serve the finished dish on plates.
