  1. 1. Cut the chicken meat into small, bite-sized cubes.
  2. 2. Peel the onion and slice it into thin strips.
  3. 3. Peel the carrots and slice them into rounds.
  4. 4. Wash the cherries thoroughly and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
  5. 5. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onion strips until they are soft and translucent.
  6. 6. Add the chicken cubes and carrot slices to the pan with the onions.
  7. 7. Fry the meat and vegetables for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. 8. Add the dry cherries to the pan and fry everything for another 2 minutes.
  9. 9. Season the pan with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. 10. Serve the finished dish on plates.
