  1. 1. Whisk 100 grams of flour with the egg, the egg yolk, some water, and salt until you have a smooth batter.
  2. 2. Let the batter rest for a few minutes.
  3. 3. Preheat a deep fryer to 180 degrees Celsius.
  4. 4. Alternatively: Heat oil in a pot until it is hot.
  5. 5. Check the oil temperature by placing the handle of a wooden spoon into it.
  6. 6. The oil is ready when small bubbles rise around the handle.
  7. 7. Coat the vegetables in the remaining flour.
  8. 8. Dip the floured vegetables into the batter.
  9. 9. Fry the vegetables in the deep fryer until golden yellow.
  10. 10. Let the finished vegetables drain on a sieve.
  11. 11. Drizzle the vegetables with lemon juice.
  12. 12. Serve the fried vegetables immediately.
