🍽️ Crispy Fried Squid Rings

Ingredients
- 800 g squid rings (or tubes cut into rings)
- 50 g flour
- vegetable oil (for frying)
- sea salt
- sweet paprika powder
- lemon wedges (for serving.)
Instructions
- 1. Pour plenty of oil into a deep pan or pot.
- 2. Heat the oil to approximately 170 degrees Celsius.
- 3. Rinse the squid rings briefly under running water.
- 4. Pat the rings completely dry with kitchen paper.
- 5. Coat the squid rings in flour.
- 6. Shake off any excess flour carefully.
- 7. Add the rings in batches to the hot oil.
- 8. Fry the rings until golden brown, which takes about 2 to 3 minutes.
- 9. Turn the rings occasionally with a slotted spoon while frying.
- 10. Remove the finished rings with the slotted spoon.
- 11. Place the rings on kitchen paper to absorb excess fat.
- 12. Season the squid rings with salt and paprika powder.
- 13. Garnish the serving plate with lemon wedges.
- 14. Serve the calamari immediately while warm.
