  3. 3. Mix flour and baking powder in a separate bowl.
  4. 4. Gently fold the mixture into the dough.
  5. 5. Moisten your hands with water.
  6. 6. Form about 12 to 15 balls with a diameter of 3 cm from the dough.
  7. 7. Heat the oil in a pot to 180 degrees.
  8. 8. Check the oil temperature by dipping the handle of a cooking spoon into the fat.
  9. 9. The oil is ready when small bubbles start to rise from the handle.
  10. 10. Place the balls into the hot oil.
  11. 11. Press them down slightly with a wooden spoon or a slotted spoon.
  12. 12. Let them puff up nicely from the heat.
  13. 13. Fry the balls until golden brown.
  14. 14. Let the finished dough balls drain briefly.
  15. 15. Roll them in powdered sugar while still warm.
