Ingredients
- 800 g chicken breast fillet
- 2 tbsp flour (for dusting)
- 200 g flour
- 60 g cornstarch
- 2 eggs
- cold water
- oil (for frying)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- ketchup (for serving)
Instructions
- 1. Cut the chicken breast fillets into small, bite-sized pieces. Season them with salt and pepper.
- 2. Lightly coat the meat pieces in flour. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cornstarch, water, and egg into a thick batter. Let this batter rest for 20 minutes.
- 3. Dip the meat pieces thoroughly into the batter and fry them in batches in hot oil for 4 to 5 minutes. Place the finished pieces on kitchen paper to absorb excess oil, and serve with ketchup.
