🍰 Crispy Fried Strawberries

Ingredients
- 500 g strawberries
- 500 ml oil (for frying)
- 50 g flour
- 150 g cornstarch
- 1 egg
Instructions
- 1. Wash the strawberries thoroughly.
- 2. Dry the berries well.
- 3. Remove the green calyxes from the strawberries.
- 4. Heat the vegetable oil in a pot or in the deep fryer to 180 degrees Celsius.
- 5. Mix flour, starch, and egg with about 200 milliliters of cold water to form a smooth batter.
- 6. Let the batter rest for 10 minutes.
- 7. Dip the strawberries one by one into the batter.
- 8. Fry the coated strawberries in the hot oil until golden brown.
- 9. Place the fried strawberries on kitchen paper to absorb excess fat.
- 10. Serve the specialty lukewarm.
