🍽️ Classic Frittata with Potatoes and Ham

Ingredients
- 600 g firm-cooking potatoes
- salt
- 1 onion
- 150 g ham
- 2 tomatoes
- 100 g mushrooms
- 7 eggs
- 4 tbsp whipping cream (at least 30% fat content)
- 1 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly.
- 2. Boil the potatoes in salted water for about 30 minutes until tender.
- 3. Let the potatoes cool down.
- 4. Peel the cooled potatoes.
- 5. Cut the potatoes into small cubes.
- 6. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius fan-forced.
- 7. Peel the onion.
- 8. Dice the onion.
- 9. Cut the ham into strips.
- 10. Wash the tomatoes.
- 11. Remove the hard stem base from the tomatoes.
- 12. Slice the tomatoes.
- 13. Clean the mushrooms (remove any dirt).
- 14. Slice the mushrooms.
- 15. Whisk the eggs in a bowl.
- 16. Stir the cream into the eggs.
- 17. Finely chop the parsley and add it to the egg mixture.
- 18. Season the egg mixture with salt and pepper.
- 19. Heat oil in a pan.
- 20. Sauté the onion cubes in the hot oil.
- 21. Add the ham to the onions.
- 22. Add the mushroom slices.
- 23. Cook the mixture for another 1 to 2 minutes.
- 24. Season the vegetables with salt and pepper.
- 25. Add the potato cubes to the pan.
- 26. Pour the egg mixture evenly over everything.
- 27. Arrange the tomato slices on top of the frittata.
- 28. Place the pan in the preheated oven.
- 29. Bake the frittata for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
- 30. Cut the finished frittata into pieces.
- 31. Serve the frittata.
