  4. 4. Remove the seeds and white pith from the pepper pieces.
  5. 5. Rinse the peppers under running water.
  6. 6. Dice the peppers into small cubes.
  7. 7. Cut the tofu into small pieces measuring approximately 1 by 4 centimeters.
  8. 8. Season the tofu pieces with salt and pepper.
  9. 9. Roll the tofu pieces in sesame seeds until they are coated all around.
  10. 10. Heat oil in batches in a non-stick frying pan.
  11. 11. Fry the sesame-coated tofu pieces in the pan until browned on all sides.
  12. 12. Place the fried tofu pieces on kitchen paper to absorb excess oil.
  13. 13. Remove any wilted leaves from the frisée lettuce.
  14. 14. Wash the frisée lettuce thoroughly.
  15. 15. Dry the lettuce using a salad spinner or a kitchen towel.
  16. 16. Tear the lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
  17. 17. Arrange the lettuce and prepared vegetables on the plates.
