  1. 1. Rinse the oranges under hot water and dry them.
  2. 2. Grate 1 to 2 tablespoons of fine orange zest.
  3. 3. Halve the oranges and squeeze out the juice.
  4. 4. Mix 3 tablespoons of orange juice with the starch in a small bowl.
  5. 5. Put the remaining orange juice, the cinnamon stick, and the cloves into a pot.
  6. 6. Pour the mixed starch into the pot.
  7. 7. Bring the mixture to a boil once.
  8. 8. Remove the pot from the heat and let the sauce steep.
  9. 9. Halve the dates and remove the pits.
  10. 10. Dice the dates finely and put them into a bowl.
  11. 11. Remove the cinnamon stick and cloves from the warm orange sauce.
  12. 12. Pour the hot sauce over the dates.
  13. 13. Let the dates cool down in the sauce.
  14. 14. Mix cream cheese and yogurt until creamy.
  15. 15. Fold in the orange zest, cinnamon, and honey.
  16. 16. Chop the pistachio kernels coarsely.
  17. 17. Wash the figs and pat them dry.
  18. 18. Cut the figs into eighths.
  19. 19. Plate the yogurt cream with the figs.
  20. 20. Add the orange-date sauce.
  21. 21. Sprinkle the dish with the chopped pistachios.
  22. 22. Serve the cream immediately.
