  1. 1. Put both types of cream cheese into a bowl.
  2. 2. Season the mixture with a pinch of salt and some freshly ground pepper.
  3. 3. Add a small splash of lemon juice.
  4. 4. Mix everything well until the spices are evenly distributed.
  5. 5. Wash the fresh chives under running water.
  6. 6. Shake the chives dry so that no water remains on them.
  7. 7. Cut the chive stems into very fine rings.
  8. 8. Take small portions of the cream cheese mixture and roll them into balls.
  9. 9. Make sure you form a total of 16 balls.
  10. 10. Roll each cream cheese ball through the fine chive rings.
  11. 11. Thread the finished balls onto small wooden skewers.
