🍳 French Toasts with Rosehip Quark Dip

Ingredients
- 2 eggs (size M)
- 3 tbsp milk (3.5% fat)
- 4 slices whole wheat toast
- 300 g plums (10 plums)
- 3 tsp butter
- 3 tsp honey (e.g. heather honey)
- 125 g low-fat quark
- 50 g goat cream cheese
- 2 heaped tsp rosehip puree
Instructions
- 1. Whisk the eggs and milk together in a bowl.
- 2. Pour the egg mixture into a shallow baking dish.
- 3. Place the toast slices into the egg milk.
- 4. Turn the slices as soon as they are soaked on one side.
- 5. Let the other side absorb the egg milk as well.
- 6. Wash the plums under running water.
- 7. Halve the plums and remove the pits.
- 8. Cut the plums into quarters or eighths depending on their size.
- 9. Heat 1 teaspoon of butter in a medium-sized pan.
- 10. Add the plums and 1 teaspoon of honey to the hot pan.
- 11. Fry the plums for about 3 to 4 minutes over medium heat.
- 12. Stir the plums occasionally while cooking.
- 13. Heat the remaining butter in a large pan.
- 14. Fry the toast slices in it until golden brown on both sides.
- 15. Mix the quark and cream cheese together in a small bowl.
- 16. Add the rosehip puree to the quark mixture.
- 17. Swirl the mixture in a spiral pattern using a wooden skewer.
- 18. Drizzle the finished French toasts with the remaining honey.
- 19. Serve the toasts together with the plums and the quark dip.
