🍳 French Toast Sticks

Ingredients
- 4 Eggs
- 180 ml Milk (3.5% fat)
- 60 g fine oat flakes
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 8 slices finely ground whole wheat bread (without whole seeds or grains)
- 2 tbsp Rapeseed oil
Instructions
- 1. Whisk the eggs, milk, oat flakes, and cinnamon with a whisk until the mixture is smooth and lump-free. Then pour the mixture into a shallow dish.
- 2. Dip the bread slices one by one into the egg mixture. Let the bread absorb the liquid for a short time, then let the excess batter drip off.
- 3. Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the bread slices one by one over medium heat, turning them so that both sides are golden brown in about 3 to 4 minutes each.
- 4. Remove the baked bread from the pan and let it cool for a short time. Cut the slices into strips about 2.5 centimeters wide and serve the French-Toast-Sticks.
