🍽️ Garlic Focaccia

Ingredients
- 10 g fresh yeast
- 250 g flour
- 0.5 tsp fine sea salt
- olive oil
- flour (for the work surface)
- 6 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp freshly chopped rosemary
Instructions
- 1. Dissolve the yeast in about 125 ml of lukewarm water.
- 2. Mix the flour with the fine salt in a large bowl.
- 3. Add the yeast solution and 3 tablespoons of olive oil to the flour.
- 4. Knead everything with the dough hooks of the hand mixer until smooth.
- 5. Adjust the amount of flour slightly if necessary until the dough is nice and pliable.
- 6. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes.
- 7. Preheat the oven to 180°C fan-forced.
- 8. Knead the risen dough well again on a lightly floured surface.
- 9. Shape the dough into an oval flatbread.
- 10. Place the flatbread on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 11. Peel the garlic and press the whole cloves lightly into the dough.
- 12. Sprinkle the dough with fresh rosemary.
- 13. Drizzle the focaccia with some olive oil.
- 14. Bake the focaccia in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
- 15. Let the focaccia cool down completely.
- 16. Serve the focaccia as desired.
