  1. 1. Dissolve the yeast in about 125 ml of lukewarm water.
  2. 2. Mix the flour with the fine salt in a large bowl.
  3. 3. Add the yeast solution and 3 tablespoons of olive oil to the flour.
  4. 4. Knead everything with the dough hooks of the hand mixer until smooth.
  5. 5. Adjust the amount of flour slightly if necessary until the dough is nice and pliable.
  6. 6. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes.
  7. 7. Preheat the oven to 180°C fan-forced.
  8. 8. Knead the risen dough well again on a lightly floured surface.
  9. 9. Shape the dough into an oval flatbread.
  10. 10. Place the flatbread on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  11. 11. Peel the garlic and press the whole cloves lightly into the dough.
  12. 12. Sprinkle the dough with fresh rosemary.
  13. 13. Drizzle the focaccia with some olive oil.
  14. 14. Bake the focaccia in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
  15. 15. Let the focaccia cool down completely.
  16. 16. Serve the focaccia as desired.
