🍽️ Garlic Grilled Crayfish

Ingredients
- 2 kg freshwater crayfish
- salt
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 handful fresh chopped herbs (e.g. parsley)
- 0.5 lemon (juice)
Instructions
- 1. Bring a large pot of water and plenty of salt to a rolling boil.
- 2. Add the crayfish to the boiling water.
- 3. Reduce the heat slightly.
- 4. Cook the crayfish for about 8 minutes until done.
- 5. Drain the crayfish.
- 6. Rinse them briefly with cold water to stop the cooking process.
- 7. Let the crayfish drain well.
- 8. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 9. Slice the garlic into thin slices.
- 10. Mix the garlic with the oil.
- 11. Add the garlic-oil mixture to the drained crayfish.
- 12. Heat a grill plate or pan until very hot.
- 13. Place the marinated crayfish on the hot grill plate.
- 14. Fry the crayfish for 4 to 5 minutes.
- 15. Turn the crayfish occasionally so they heat through evenly.
- 16. Finely chop the fresh herbs.
- 17. Mix the chopped herbs into the hot crayfish.
- 18. Drizzle some lemon juice over the finished dish.
- 19. Serve the crayfish immediately.
