🍰 Fluffy Yogurt Yeast Dumplings

Ingredients
- 300 g flour
- 1 packet dry yeast
- 1 container yogurt
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 egg
- 50 g butter
- powdered sugar
Instructions
- 1. Put the flour in a bowl and stir in the yeast.
- 2. Warm the yogurt briefly in a pot with hot water.
- 3. Whisk the warm yogurt with 3 tablespoons of sugar, a pinch of salt, and the egg until the mixture is smooth.
- 4. Add the yogurt-egg mixture to the flour mixture and fold it in gently.
- 5. Knead the dough until it no longer sticks to your fingers.
- 6. Shape the dough into a long roll.
- 7. Divide the roll into 16 equal pieces.
- 8. Set the dough pieces aside.
- 9. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- 10. Shape each dough piece into a round ball.
- 11. Melt some butter in a small pot.
- 12. Brush the dough balls all over with the melted butter.
- 13. Place the balls close together in a baking pan.
- 14. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 20 minutes.
- 15. Place the baking pan in the preheated oven.
- 16. Bake the dumplings for 30 minutes until golden brown.
- 17. Remove the pan from the oven.
- 18. Dust the hot dumplings immediately with powdered sugar.
- 19. Serve the dumplings.
