  1. 1. Peel the onion and cut it into thin strips.
  2. 2. Cut the pepper into quarters and remove the seeds.
  3. 3. Wash the pepper pieces and cut them into approx. 1.5 cm cubes.
  4. 4. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a pot.
  5. 5. Fry the onion strips in the hot oil.
  6. 6. Add the pepper cubes and fry them for a few minutes.
  7. 7. Sprinkle the vegetables with paprika powder.
  8. 8. Pour in the broth.
  9. 9. Let the mixture simmer for about 10 to 12 minutes.
  10. 10. Peel the shallot and cut it into fine cubes.
  11. 11. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a pan.
  12. 12. Sweat the shallots until translucent (soft and see-through).
  13. 13. Mix the minced meat, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, and shallots.
  14. 14. With slightly damp hands, shape small balls the size of a ping pong ball.
  15. 15. Fry the balls in the remaining oil until browned all over.
  16. 16. Add the meatballs to the pot with the pepper and onion mixture.
  17. 17. Season everything to taste with salt and pepper.
  18. 18. Plate the meatballs.
  19. 19. Garnish with parsley.
  20. 20. Serve the dish immediately.
