🍽️ Savory Meat and Rice Balls

Ingredients
- 200 g Basmati rice
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 400 g minced meat (pork)
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
- cayenne pepper
- dried goji berries (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the rice under cold water.
- 2. Let the rice drain well.
- 3. Bring about 350 milliliters of water with two tablespoons of soy sauce to a boil.
- 4. Add the rice to the boiling water.
- 5. Cook the rice covered for 15 minutes.
- 6. Make sure the rice does not become completely soft.
- 7. Remove the pot from the heat.
- 8. Let the rice cool down uncovered.
- 9. Place the minced meat in a bowl.
- 10. Peel the garlic clove.
- 11. Chop the garlic finely.
- 12. Mix the garlic together with the ginger into the meat.
- 13. Season everything with soy sauce and cayenne pepper.
- 14. Form small balls from the meat mixture.
- 15. Roll the balls in the cooled rice.
- 16. Press the balls firmly.
- 17. Place the balls on a steamer insert.
- 18. Steam the balls for about 10 minutes over hot water vapor.
- 19. Serve the meat balls.
- 20. Garnish each ball with one goji berry.
