🍽️ Crispy Flammkuchen with Bacon and Spring Onions

Ingredients
- 10 g fresh yeast
- 250 g flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tbsp sunflower oil (and oil for the baking sheet)
- 4 spring onions
- flour (for the work surface)
- 200 g crème légère
- 100 g diced breakfast bacon
Instructions
- 1. Dissolve the yeast in about 100 milliliters of lukewarm water.
- 2. Add the flour, salt, and sunflower oil to the yeast mixture.
- 3. Knead the dough until it is smooth and pliable.
- 4. If necessary, add a little more flour or water to achieve the right consistency.
- 5. Shape the dough into a ball.
- 6. Let the dough rise, covered, in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- 7. Clean the spring onions and wash them thoroughly.
- 8. Slice the spring onions into fine rings.
- 9. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius using top and bottom heat.
- 10. Knead the risen dough briefly once more.
- 11. Divide the dough into four equal pieces.
- 12. Roll out the dough pieces thinly on a lightly floured surface.
- 13. Place the dough on a baking sheet greased with oil.
- 14. Spread the crème légère evenly over the dough.
- 15. Distribute the bacon cubes evenly over the cream.
- 16. Leave a narrow border around the edge of the dough.
- 17. Sprinkle the sliced spring onions over the flammkuchen.
- 18. Bake the flammkuchen in the hot oven for about 10 minutes until crispy.
- 19. Remove the flammkuchen from the oven.
- 20. Serve the flammkuchen hot.
