🍳 Smoked Fish Salad

Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 300 g smoked fish fillet (e.g. trout)
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp crème fraîche
- 1 tsp horseradish (jar)
- 2 tbsp chive rings
- 1 dash lemon juice
- pepper (from the mill)
- 4 large slices smoked salmon
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion.
- 2. Dice the onion into very small cubes.
- 3. Place the smoked fish in a bowl.
- 4. Mash the fish into fine pieces using a fork.
- 5. Add the diced onion to the fish.
- 6. Add the mayonnaise.
- 7. Add the crème fraîche.
- 8. Add the horseradish.
- 9. Finely chop the chives.
- 10. Add the chives.
- 11. Mix all ingredients thoroughly with the fish.
- 12. Season the mixture with some lemon juice.
- 13. Season the mixture with black pepper.
- 14. Take a small ladle.
- 15. Line the ladle with slices of smoked salmon.
- 16. Fill the ladle with the fish salad mixture.
- 17. Gently turn the ladle out to release the salad.
- 18. Serve the salad on plates.
- 19. Serve the fish salad with crispy bread chips on the side, if desired.
