🍽️ Thai-style Fish Patties

Ingredients
- 150 g soybean
- salt
- 600 g white fish fillet (e.g. cod, dogfish)
- 2 spring onions
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp red curry paste
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 0.5 tsp ground coriander
Instructions
- 1. Wash the beans and remove the tough ends.
- 2. Boil the beans in salted water for about 7 minutes until tender.
- 3. Drain the beans and rinse them with cold water to stop the cooking process.
- 4. Let the beans drain well and then chop them finely.
- 5. Wash the fish and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
- 6. Cut the fish into small cubes.
- 7. Finely chop the fish cubes as well.
- 8. Wash the spring onions and remove the dry tips.
- 9. Slice the spring onions into thin rings.
- 10. Mix the chopped fish with the beans, egg, curry paste, fish sauce, lime juice, soy sauce, and coriander in a bowl.
- 11. Shape the mixture into small balls or patties.
- 12. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- 13. Fry the fish patties in the hot pan until golden brown on both sides.
- 14. Remove the finished patties from the pan and place them on kitchen paper to absorb excess fat.
- 15. Serve the fish patties warm.
