  3. 3. Rinse the fish fillet and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
  4. 4. Cut the fish into small cubes.
  5. 5. Soak the toast bread in the cream until it is soft.
  6. 6. Add the fish, the egg, the dill, the curry powder, salt, and pepper to the blender.
  7. 7. Add the soaked toast bread.
  8. 8. Blend the mixture in the blender until it is fine and homogeneous.
  9. 9. Gently fold the chopped spring onions into the fish mixture.
  10. 10. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  11. 11. If the mixture is too soft, stir in white bread crumbs to bind it.
  12. 12. Form small balls from the fish mixture.
  13. 13. Roll the fish balls in breadcrumbs until they are completely covered.
  14. 14. Heat oil in a frying pan.
  15. 15. Fry the fish balls slowly in the pan.
  16. 16. Fry them for about 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  17. 17. Boil the eggs hard by cooking them in water.
  18. 18. Peel the shallot and remove the outer layers.

  27. 27. Add the finely chopped shallot to the sauce.
  28. 28. Add the finely diced gherkins to the sauce.
  29. 29. Mix all ingredients for the sauce well together.
  30. 30. Season the sauce with mustard, salt, and pepper to taste.
  31. 31. Serve the fish balls together with the tartar sauce.
