🍽️ Crispy Fish and Prawn Patties

Ingredients
- 300 g shrimp tails (kitchen-ready)
- 300 g cod fillet
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp parsley
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 eggs
- 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 3 tbsp flour
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the prawns thoroughly and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 2. Cut the fish fillet into small pieces.
- 3. Wash the bell pepper and cut it in half lengthwise.
- 4. Remove the seeds and the white inner membranes from the bell pepper.
- 5. Finely chop the bell pepper.
- 6. Peel the onion and the garlic.
- 7. Dice the onion and garlic finely.
- 8. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a frying pan.
- 9. Sauté the onions until translucent, meaning they become soft and slightly see-through.
- 10. Remove the pan from the heat and let the onions cool down.
- 11. Crack the eggs into a large bowl and whisk them.
- 12. Add the fish, prawns, bell pepper, garlic, parsley, breadcrumbs, and cooled onions to the egg mixture.
- 13. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 14. Mix all ingredients well until a firm dough forms.
- 15. Place the flour on a shallow plate.
- 16. Form small balls or patties from the dough.
- 17. Roll the balls in the flour so they are coated all over.
- 18. Fry the balls in the remaining olive oil in the pan.
- 19. Fry them for about four minutes per side until golden brown.
- 20. Serve the fish patties immediately while warm.
