🍽️ Crispy fish on creamy spinach

Ingredients
- 600 g fish fillet (4 fish fillets, each approx. 150 g)
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp butter
- 600 g spinach
- 1 onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 2 tbsp oil
- nutmeg
- 70 g whipping cream
Instructions
- 1. Drizzle two tablespoons of lemon juice over the fish fillets.
- 2. Season the fish with salt and pepper.
- 3. Whisk the eggs in a shallow dish.
- 4. Turn the fish pieces in the egg mixture until they are completely covered.
- 5. Heat butter in a large non-stick frying pan.
- 6. Fry the fillets on each side until golden brown.
- 7. Wash the spinach thoroughly.
- 8. Remove the tough stems from the spinach.
- 9. Cook the spinach in a small amount of salted water until it is soft.
- 10. Drain the spinach.
- 11. Shock the spinach with cold water.
- 12. Let the spinach drip dry.
- 13. Squeeze the spinach dry.
- 14. Finely chop the spinach.
- 15. Peel the garlic clove and the onion.
- 16. Finely chop the garlic and onion.
- 17. Heat oil in a wide pot.
- 18. Sauté the onions and garlic until translucent.
- 19. Add the chopped spinach.
- 20. Sauté the spinach for a few minutes.
- 21. Stir in the cream.
- 22. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- 23. Let the mixture simmer for a short while.
- 24. Plate the spinach on plates.
- 25. Place the fish fillets on the spinach.
- 26. Serve the dish immediately.
