🍽️ Juicy Beef Filet Mignon with Radicchio Salad

Ingredients
- 1 Radicchio (large head)
- 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp mustard
- 5 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- 800 g beef filet steak (4 beef filet steaks)
- 2 tsp black pitted olives
- 2 tsp white peppercorns
- 4 allspice berries
- 2 tbsp germ oil
- salt
- 1 garlic clove
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the radicchio under running water.
- 2. Shake the vegetable dry.
- 3. Tear the leaves into small, edible pieces.
- 4. Put vinegar, honey, mustard, salt, and pepper into a bowl.
- 5. Stir the ingredients for the dressing well together.
- 6. Stir in the oil until everything is well mixed.
- 7. Crush peppercorns and allspice berries in a mortar to make a coarse powder.
- 8. Spread the spice mixture on a cutting board.
- 9. Roll the meat pieces in the spices so they are coated all over.
- 10. Press the spice firmly onto the meat.
- 11. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 12. Cut the garlic cloves into quarters.
- 13. Heat the oil in a pan.
- 14. Fry the garlic until golden brown.
- 15. Remove the garlic from the pan and set it aside.
- 16. Sear the steaks in the hot fat for one minute on each side.
- 17. Reduce the heat of the pan.
- 18. Cook the meat for another 2 to 4 minutes per side.
- 19. Season the steaks with salt.
- 20. Remove the steaks from the pan.
- 21. Wrap the steaks in aluminum foil.
- 22. Let the meat rest for 5 to 10 minutes.
- 23. Put the radicchio into the prepared dressing.
- 24. Mix the salad well with the dressing.
- 25. Arrange the salad on rustic wooden boards or a large platter.
- 26. Place one filet steak on top of the salad.
- 27. Serve the dish immediately.
