🥗 Fresh Tuna and Feta Salad

Ingredients
- 1 romaine lettuce (approx. 200 g)
- 2 spring onions
- 3 tomatoes
- 2 cans tuna (in water approx. 200 g drained weight)
- 80 g black olives
- 150 g sheep's milk cheese (feta)
- 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- salt
- freshly ground pepper
- 6 tbsp olive oil (cold-pressed)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the salad greens thoroughly.
- 2. Let the salad greens drain well in a colander.
- 3. Wash the spring onions.
- 4. Slice the spring onions into thin rings.
- 5. Wash the tomatoes.
- 6. Cut the tomatoes into small pieces.
- 7. Drain the tuna can.
- 8. Break the tuna meat into bite-sized pieces.
- 9. Cut the feta cheese into small cubes.
- 10. Mix vinegar, salt, pepper, and oil in a small bowl.
- 11. Whisk the vinaigrette (a sauce made of oil and acid) vigorously.
- 12. Place the drained salad into a large bowl.
- 13. Add the spring onions, tomatoes, tuna, and feta.
- 14. Pour the vinaigrette over the ingredients.
- 15. Toss everything gently to combine the ingredients.
- 16. Portion the salad into small bowls.
