Ingredients
- 400 g Feta
- 2 dried chili peppers
- 3 clove buds
- 0.5 tsp peppercorns
- 4 fresh garlic cloves
- 2 leaves lovage
- 2 sprigs oregano
- 2 sprigs thyme
- 200 ml olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Cut the feta cheese into small cubes.
- 2. Place the feta cubes into a bowl.
- 3. Add the peperoncini.
- 4. Add the cloves.
- 5. Add the peppercorns.
- 6. Peel the garlic.
- 7. Lightly crush the garlic.
- 8. Rinse the herbs under running water.
- 9. Pat the herbs dry with a kitchen towel.
- 10. Tear the herb stems into smaller pieces.
- 11. Add the herbs to the cheese.
- 12. Mix all ingredients together loosely.
- 13. Fill the mixture into a prepared jar.
- 14. Pour the oil over the ingredients.
- 15. Make sure everything is completely covered with oil.
- 16. Seal the jar tightly.
- 17. Place the jar in the refrigerator.
- 18. Let the ingredients infuse for at least 2 hours.
- 19. It is best to let them infuse overnight.
