🥗 Fresh Fennel and Pear Salad with Lime

Ingredients
- 1 bulb fennel (1 small fennel bulb)
- 75 g pears (0.5 pears)
- 0.5 lime
- 0.5 bunch watercress
- 0.5 tsp sesame oil
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the fennel under running water.
- 2. Let the water drain off the fennel.
- 3. Remove the tough bottom stalks and the outer leaves from the fennel.
- 4. Cut the pears in half.
- 5. Cut each pear half in half again.
- 6. Remove the core from the pear pieces.
- 7. Shred the fennel into very thin slices using a box grater.
- 8. Shred the pear pieces into thin slices as well.
- 9. Place the shredded fennel and pear pieces into a large bowl.
- 10. Squeeze the lime to extract the juice.
- 11. Drizzle the lime juice over the fruit and vegetables to your liking.
- 12. Wash the watercress under running water.
- 13. Shake the watercress dry to remove excess water.
- 14. Break the watercress into bite-sized pieces.
- 15. Add the watercress to the bowl with the fennel and pear.
- 16. Mix all ingredients thoroughly together.
- 17. Drizzle the salad with sesame oil.
- 18. Season the salad with salt to taste.
- 19. Season the salad with freshly ground pepper to taste.
- 20. Plate the salad.
