  1. 1. Wash the figs thoroughly.
  2. 2. Halve the figs and cut them into thin strips.
  3. 3. Place the cut figs into a pot.
  4. 4. Add cinnamon and a clove.
  5. 5. Pour in the grape juice.
  6. 6. Let the mixture steep for two hours.
  7. 7. Bring the figs to a boil slowly.
  8. 8. Stir in the agar-agar powder.
  9. 9. Boil the jam for two minutes.
  10. 10. Fill the hot jam to the brim into sterile jars.
  11. 11. Seal the jars tightly.
  12. 12. Place the jars upside down on a kitchen towel immediately.
  13. 13. Let them stand in this position for five minutes.
  14. 14. Turn the jars back over.
  15. 15. Let the jam cool down completely.
