🍰 Grilled Figs with Honey and Lavender

Ingredients
- 8 ripe figs
- 8 tbsp lavender honey
- 100 ml dry white wine
- Lavender flowers (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the figs under running water.
- 2. Then dry the fruits with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Cut a small cross into the top of each fig.
- 4. Place the prepared figs in a shallow baking dish.
- 5. Whisk about 6 tablespoons of honey with the white wine in a small bowl.
- 6. Pour the honey-wine mixture evenly over the figs.
- 7. Cover the dish and let the figs marinate at room temperature for about 1 hour.
- 8. Preheat your grill and set it to high heat.
- 9. Place the marinated figs on the hot grill grate.
- 10. Grill the figs for about 7 minutes.
- 11. Turn the fruits once during grilling so they cook evenly.
- 12. Drizzle the finished figs with the remaining honey.
- 13. Serve the grilled figs garnished with fresh lavender flowers.
