🍽️ Grilled Figs with Cream Cheese and Honey

Ingredients
- 6 figs
- 4 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- pepper (from the mill)
- olive oil (for the grill grate)
- 600 g grainy cream cheese
- 4 tbsp acacia honey
- coarse sea salt
- 2 thyme sprigs
Instructions
- 1. Wash the figs thoroughly.
- 2. Dry the figs with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Cut the figs in half.
- 4. Brush the fig halves with vinegar.
- 5. Season the figs with some pepper.
- 6. Brush the grill grate with oil.
- 7. Place the figs cut-side up on the hot grill grate.
- 8. Grill the figs for about 4 minutes.
- 9. Place the cream cheese into small bowls.
- 10. Place the grilled figs on top of the cream cheese.
- 11. Drizzle honey over the figs.
- 12. Sprinkle coarse sea salt over the figs.
- 13. Wash the thyme leaves.
- 14. Garnish the figs with the thyme leaves.
- 15. Serve the figs immediately.
