  1. 1. Crumble the yeast into a bowl.
  2. 2. Stir in the honey and 190 milliliters of lukewarm water until the mixture is smooth.
  3. 3. Add the flour, the olive oil, and 1 teaspoon of salt.
  4. 4. Knead everything into a smooth dough.
  5. 5. Adjust the amount of flour or water as needed to achieve the right dough consistency.
  6. 6. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for approx. 1 hour.
  7. 7. Wash the figs thoroughly.
  8. 8. Cut the figs into wedges.
  9. 9. Grate the cheese finely.
  10. 10. Sprinkle some flour on the work surface.
  11. 11. Knead the dough well there again.
  12. 12. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions.
  13. 13. Roll each portion into a thin oval.
  14. 14. Place the dough ovals on baking paper.
  15. 15. Sprinkle the grated cheese over the dough ovals.
  16. 16. Top the pizzas with the fig wedges.
  17. 17. Carefully lift the pizzas onto a preheated baking sheet.
  18. 18. Bake the pizzas in the preheated oven at 240 °C (convection: 220 °C; gas: highest setting) for 10–15 minutes until golden brown.
  19. 19. Wash the arugula in the meantime.
  20. 20. Spin the arugula dry.
  21. 21. Take the fig pizzas out of the oven.
  22. 22. Sprinkle the hot pizzas with the arugula.
  23. 23. Serve the pizzas immediately.
