  1. 1. Heat a non-stick pan without oil or butter.
  2. 2. Put the walnuts in the hot pan.
  3. 3. Roast the nuts briefly until they are slightly fragrant.
  4. 4. Sprinkle the powdered sugar evenly over the warm nuts.
  5. 5. Let the sugar melt and caramelize until it is golden brown.
  6. 6. Remove the nuts from the pan immediately.
  7. 7. Place the caramelized nuts on a sheet of baking paper.
  8. 8. Let the nuts cool completely and harden.
  9. 9. Wash the figs under running water.
  10. 10. Dry the figs carefully with a kitchen towel.
  11. 11. Cut the top of each fig in a cross shape.
  12. 12. Make sure not to cut the figs completely through.
  13. 13. Open the cuts slightly so that the fig looks like a flower.
  14. 14. Cut the blue mold cheese into small cubes.
  15. 15. Put the cheese cubes in a bowl.
  16. 16. Add the cream cheese.
  17. 17. Mix the two types of cheese well together.
  18. 18. Season the cheese cream with a pinch of salt.
  19. 19. Season the cheese cream with freshly ground pepper.
  20. 20. Fill the cheese cream into a piping bag.
  21. 21. Insert a small round nozzle into the tip of the bag.
  22. 22. Pipe the cheese cream into the center of the opened figs.
  23. 23. Place the filled figs on a serving plate.
  24. 24. Take the cooled caramelized walnuts.
  25. 25. Halve the walnuts carefully.
  26. 26. Place one walnut half on each filled fig.
  27. 27. Serve the figs immediately as an appetizing snack.
