  2. 2. Brush four small ovenproof ramekins with some oil.
  3. 3. Wash the figs and cut them into thirds.
  4. 4. Place the fig pieces into the prepared ramekins.
  5. 5. Crumble the Gorgonzola cheese into small pieces with your hands.
  6. 6. Sprinkle the cheese evenly over the figs.
  7. 7. Place the ramekins on the top rack in the oven.
  8. 8. Bake the figs for about 5 minutes.
  9. 9. While the figs are baking, whisk the honey and vinegar together in a small bowl.
  10. 10. Season the honey-vinegar mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  11. 11. Carefully remove the ramekins from the oven.
  12. 12. Drizzle the honey sauce directly over the hot figs.
  13. 13. Serve the dish immediately while warm.
