  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius using top and bottom heat.
  2. 2. Wash the bell peppers thoroughly and remove the inner seeds and core.
  3. 3. Cut the bell peppers into small cubes.
  4. 4. Soak the bread rolls briefly in lukewarm water.
  5. 5. Boil the eggs until hard-boiled.
  6. 6. Peel the boiled eggs carefully.
  7. 7. Cut the peeled eggs in half lengthwise.
  8. 8. Peel the onions.
  9. 9. Dice the onions finely.
  10. 10. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a frying pan.
  11. 11. Sauté the onion cubes in the hot oil until they become soft and translucent.
  12. 12. Remove the frying pan from the heat source.
  13. 13. Stir the dried herbs into the onions.
  14. 14. Squeeze the water out of the soaked bread rolls.
  15. 15. Place the minced meat into a large bowl.
  16. 16. Add the raw egg to the minced meat.
  17. 17. Add the mustard to the meat mixture.
  18. 18. Add the diced peppers to the meat mixture.
  19. 19. Add the parsley to the meat mixture.
  20. 20. Add the squeezed-out bread rolls to the meat mixture.
  21. 21. Mix all ingredients for the meat mixture thoroughly together.

  23. 23. Season the meat mixture with pepper.
  24. 24. Gently fold the seasoned onions into the meat mixture.
  25. 25. Grease a baking dish with some fat.
  26. 26. Place half of the meat mixture into the baking dish.
  27. 27. Press an oval indentation into the layer of meat.
  28. 28. Place the halved eggs into the indentation.
  29. 29. Cover the eggs with the remaining meat mixture.
  30. 30. Shape the meat mixture into a uniform loaf.
  31. 31. Brush the surface of the meat with the remaining oil.
  32. 32. Place the loaf into the preheated oven.
  33. 33. Bake the Falscher Hase for 50 to 60 minutes.
