Ingredients
- 1 piece pineapple (approx. 100 g flesh)
- 1 tsp rapeseed oil
- salt
- pepper
- 3 tbsp yogurt salad cream
- 1 tsp red curry paste
- 1 piece lime
- 100 g napa cabbage (1 piece)
- 2 slices rye wholemeal bread (or 1 wholemeal baguette roll)
- 75 g roast beef sliced meat (without fat rim)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the pineapple and remove the tough core.
- 2. Slice the pineapple into thin rounds.
- 3. Heat a grill pan on the stovetop.
- 4. Brush the hot pan lightly with the oil.
- 5. Place the pineapple slices in the pan.
- 6. Grill the pineapple until golden brown.
- 7. Season the grilled pineapple with salt and pepper.
- 8. Remove the pineapple from the pan.
- 9. Let the pineapple cool down completely.
- 10. Mix the salad cream with the curry paste.
- 11. Squeeze the lime.
- 12. Drizzle the lime juice into the curry cream.
- 13. Clean the Chinese cabbage.
- 14. Cut the Chinese cabbage into thin strips.
- 15. Wash the Chinese cabbage strips.
- 16. Dry the Chinese cabbage in a salad spinner.
- 17. Toast the bread lightly to your liking.
- 18. Spread the curry cream onto the bread.
- 19. Distribute the cooled pineapple on one slice of bread.
- 20. Place the dry Chinese cabbage on top of the pineapple.
- 21. Top the sandwich with the roast beef.
- 22. Place the second slice of bread on top as a lid.
- 23. Wrap the finished sandwich in deli paper.
