🥤 Tropical Fruit Smoothie

Ingredients
- 300 g small ripe mango (1 small ripe mango)
- 150 g small ripe bananas (1 small ripe banana)
- 1 lime
- 3 sprigs lemon balm
- 200 ml whey
- Also: ice cubes
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the mango under running water.
- 2. Dry the mango with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Peel the mango.
- 4. Slice the flesh away from the pit.
- 5. Set aside two thin mango slices for garnish.
- 6. Dice the remaining fruit flesh.
- 7. Peel the banana.
- 8. Place the banana on a plate.
- 9. Mash the banana slightly with a fork or the back of a spoon.
- 10. Squeeze the lime.
- 11. Drizzle the lime juice over the mashed banana.
- 12. Rinse the lemon balm under cold water.
- 13. Shake the leaves dry.
- 14. Pluck the leaves off the stems.
- 15. Set aside some fresh balm leaves for garnish.
- 16. Put the diced mango into a tall blending jar.
- 17. Add the mashed banana to the jar.
- 18. Add the remaining balm leaves to the jar.
- 19. Pour the whey into the jar.
- 20. Puree the mixture until smooth using a hand blender.
- 21. Pour the smoothie into two glasses.
- 22. Add a few ice cubes to the glasses.
- 23. Garnish the glasses with the reserved mango slices.
- 24. Decorate the drink with the reserved balm leaves.
