🍽️ Exotic Melon Salad

Ingredients
- 1 honeydew melon
- 1 can canned lychee
- 3 tbsp raw cane sugar
- 150 ml water
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- 1. Cut the honeydew melon in half and remove the seeds.
- 2. Use a melon baller to scoop out small balls from the flesh.
- 3. Drain the lychees and cut them in half.
- 4. Bring water and sugar to a boil in a pot.
- 5. Simmer the mixture over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes until it becomes syrupy.
- 6. Stir the lemon juice into the warm syrup.
- 7. Place the melon balls and lychees in a bowl.
- 8. Pour the syrup over the fruit.
- 9. Let the salad sit for half an hour.
- 10. Stir the fruit occasionally during this time.
- 11. Serve the salad cold.
