  1. 1. Rinse the limes under hot water and pat them dry.
  2. 2. Finely grate the lime zest and squeeze out the juice.
  3. 3. Remove the physalis fruits from their husks and cut them in half.
  4. 4. Peel the ginger and chop it finely.
  5. 5. Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente (firm to the bite).
  6. 6. Pour the oil into a hot wok.
  7. 7. Sauté the chopped ginger in the oil.
  8. 8. Deglaze the pan with the lime juice.
  9. 9. Stir in the tamarind paste (a thick, sweet sauce).
  10. 10. Pour in the cream.
  11. 11. Simmer the sauce over low heat for 2 to 3 minutes.
  12. 12. Add the drained pasta to the sauce.
  13. 13. Add half of the lime zest to the sauce.
  14. 14. Add the halved physalis fruits to the sauce.
  15. 15. Toss everything gently until the pasta and fruits are coated with the sauce.
  16. 16. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  17. 17. Sprinkle the finished pasta with the remaining lime zest.
  18. 18. Serve the pasta immediately.
