🍽️ DIY Herbal Vinegar

Ingredients
- 100 g mixed herbs (e.g. rosemary, thyme, basil, lemon balm, dill, parsley)
- 0.5 tsp peppercorns
- 0.5 tsp juniper berries
- 1 bay leaf
- 150 ml white balsamic vinegar
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the herbs under running water.
- 2. Gently pat the herbs dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Pluck the leaves off the stems.
- 4. Roughly chop the herbs.
- 5. Place the chopped herbs into a clean jar.
- 6. Add the peppercorns.
- 7. Add the juniper berries.
- 8. Add the bay leaf.
- 9. Pour the vinegar over the spices.
- 10. Seal the jar tightly.
- 11. Place the jar in a cool, dark spot.
- 12. Let the vinegar infuse for about one week to allow the flavors to develop.
- 13. Strain the vinegar through a fine sieve to remove the solid ingredients.
- 14. Pour the finished vinegar into a clean bottle or jar.
- 15. Store the vinegar in a cool place.
