🍽️ Creamy Peanut Celery Soup

Ingredients
- 1 stalk celery
- 1 medium onion
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1.5 tbsp flour
- 750 ml chicken broth (ready-made)
- 125 g peanut butter
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp roasted peanuts (unsalted, coarsely chopped)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the celery thoroughly.
- 2. Peel the onion.
- 3. Cut the celery into small cubes.
- 4. Cut the onion into small cubes as well.
- 5. Melt the butter in a wide pot.
- 6. Add the celery and onion cubes to the hot butter.
- 7. Sauté the vegetables over medium heat until they are soft.
- 8. Sprinkle the flour over the vegetables.
- 9. Stir the flour in briefly.
- 10. Stir in the broth gradually.
- 11. Add the peanut butter to the soup.
- 12. Simmer the soup over low heat for about 10 minutes.
- 13. Season the soup with salt.
- 14. Season the soup with pepper.
- 15. Add some lemon juice.
- 16. Sprinkle the finished soup with chopped peanuts.
