🍽️ Fresh Strawberry Jam

Ingredients
- 1 kg strawberries
- 1 organic lemon
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1 pinch clove powder
- 500 g pectin sugar 2:1
- powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- 1. Remove the green stems from the strawberries and wash them thoroughly.
- 2. Cut the strawberries into four equal pieces.
- 3. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze out the juice.
- 4. Place the strawberry pieces and the lemon juice into a blender.
- 5. Blend the mixture until it is completely smooth.
- 6. Stir the spices and sugar into the puree.
- 7. Let the mixture rest for one hour to allow the flavors to infuse.
- 8. Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil.
- 9. Place the jars along with their lids in the boiling water for ten minutes to sterilize them.
- 10. Carefully remove the hot jars from the water.
- 11. Place the jars upside down on clean kitchen towels to cool down.
- 12. Pour the rested strawberry puree into a cooking pot.
- 13. Bring the mixture to a boil on the stove.
- 14. Let the jam boil vigorously for four minutes.
- 15. Fill the hot jam into the prepared jars.
- 16. Sprinkle some powdered sugar on the surface to prevent a skin from forming.
- 17. Let the sealed jars cool down completely.
