  1. 1. Wash the strawberries thoroughly under running water.
  2. 2. Remove the green stems and leaves from the berries.
  3. 3. Gently pat the strawberries dry with a kitchen towel.
  4. 4. Fill the prepared strawberries into clean liter bottles.
  5. 5. Pour white wine vinegar over the berries until the bottles are full.
  6. 6. Seal the bottles tightly with a lid.
  7. 7. Leave the bottles in a cool place.
  8. 8. Wait until the color of the vinegar has turned into a delicate pink.
  9. 9. This process takes about 14 days.
  10. 10. Pour the finished vinegar through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl.
  11. 11. Discard the soft, extracted strawberry pieces.
  12. 12. Transfer the clear vinegar into pretty bottles or jars.
  13. 13. Add a few fresh, uncrushed strawberries to each container as decoration.
