🍽️ Homemade Strawberry Vinegar

Ingredients
- 400 g fresh strawberries
- 1.5 l good white wine vinegar
- 100 g fresh strawberries (for the finished vinegar)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the strawberries thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Remove the green stems and leaves from the berries.
- 3. Gently pat the strawberries dry with a kitchen towel.
- 4. Fill the prepared strawberries into clean liter bottles.
- 5. Pour white wine vinegar over the berries until the bottles are full.
- 6. Seal the bottles tightly with a lid.
- 7. Leave the bottles in a cool place.
- 8. Wait until the color of the vinegar has turned into a delicate pink.
- 9. This process takes about 14 days.
- 10. Pour the finished vinegar through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl.
- 11. Discard the soft, extracted strawberry pieces.
- 12. Transfer the clear vinegar into pretty bottles or jars.
- 13. Add a few fresh, uncrushed strawberries to each container as decoration.
